Taoyuan Campus Transportation Information

Transport Company Bus
Stop near Taoyuan Train Station is in front of Daiichi Electronics Store entrance. Taiwan Bus Transport ： Disembark at WanShou Rd. or GweiShan stop and walk about 15 minutes. Taoyuan Transport: Taoyuan-Tuken Village line has a “Ming Chuan University” stop.

Private Vehicle
From ZhongShan Highway (National 1)

Northbound: Exit at NanKan throughway; straight on ChunEr Rd. (Taipei Cty 4); left on SanMing Rd. toward GweiShan; at the Taoyuan Giant Egg Stadium turn left on WanShou Rd. (Taipei Cty 1); right on Tatung Rd.; then right on DeMing (Teh-Ming) Rd.

Southbound: Exit at LinKou throughway (15A); turn left and pass ChangGung Hospital; straight to National College of Physical Education and Sports (LinKou Stadium); bear right on Taoyuan Cty 7; straight to Taipei Cty 1 intersection; go straight through this intersection and right on the second parallel road; turn left at the McDonald's onto DzChiang Rd,; left on TaTung Rd.; then right on DeMing (Teh-Ming) Rd.

Facilities

There are Mandarin classrooms, professional e-learning classroom, Chinese Culture classroom, and library, etc.

Student Bus ( Taipei campus—Taoyuan campus)
It takes about 60 to 80 minutes per trip between Taipei and Taoyuan campus. Busses run from 8:00 to 22:00 and there is a bus every 2 hours on average.

Computer Facilities
A wireless digital communication system is already set up on campus. With a personal computer and wireless networking card, teachers and students can get online anytime, anywhere. In addition, most classrooms have access to an “e-learning system”, which allows access to searching information online everywhere on campus.

Cafeteria & Shops
The cafeteria and shops are open daily during semesters for meals and snacks.

Campus Health Services Center
The Health Services Center is available to all students. The campus nurse and the doctor are in attendance every day.

Library
There are almost 440,000 books, 1,600 periodicals, 18,000 media audio-visual materials and 17 kinds of newspapers in the Ming Chuan Library. A wireless networking environment is provided inside the whole library building.

Sports Facilities
1. Outdoor Playing Courts: Basketball/tennis courts and two volleyball courts

2. Indoor multipurpose gymnasium:
First floor: 4 courts for badminton and table tennis facilities
Second floor: dancing rooms and fitness center
Third floor: indoor basketball court

3. Outdoor multipurpose sports field: 400-meter rubber track lanes, soccer, football and softball fields, croquet and handball courts.

There are also public and private swimming pools near the Taoyuan campus, the New Century indoor swimming pool and Water World.
