schedule that begins with simple material and gradually delves into the more difficult. With an emphasis on developing Chinese vocabulary and speech used in everyday life, the classes themselves are casual and relaxed, encouraging students to practice speaking frequently and strengthening their basic speaking and listening ability.\u00a0Using complementary pictures creates total language immersion, which allows students to overcome any fears of putting the language to use, and allows\u00a0students to maintain their interest in and passion for their language studies.
